Types of loft conversions

Hip To Gable:

Hip to gable loft conversions is a common type of conversion that alters the existing roof hip to a new gable wall. This is done by extending the rafters to the end wall and creating a new gable wall with either block or stud work to achieve maximum space.

Pitched Dormer:

The pitched dormer is a type of conversion which can be done when the height of the existing roof is adequate. A major benefit of this dormer is the optimal light obtained from the various windows.

Full Width Dormer:

The full width dormer is a family favourite as it maximises the loft conversion space by extending the box like dormer from one end of the roof to the other. Creating a new floor with almost similar magnitude to the lower storey.

L Shaped Loft:

Creating an L like dormer across the existing roof of residence. Allowing optimal space to be utilised across the existing shape.
